T-L gives protection from these major diseases of soybeans: 1.
Rhizoctonia solani which causes pre and post emergence damping-off of the
seedling. This fungus can also cause a reddish brown decay of the roots or stem
near the soil line. The Rhizoctonia fungus survives indefinitely in the
soil. 2. Pythium
seed rot is caused by several species of the soil-borne fungus Pythium.
Pythium causes a soft watery rot. Seedlings may rot before emergence or
emerged seedlings may turn brown and die. Pythium fungi survive from year
to year in the soil and crop residue. Pythium is favored by wet and cool
soil conditions. 3.
Pod and Stem Blight, also known as Phomopsis, infects seeds as they are
maturing in the pods. Planting diseased seeds can result in seed decay and poor
stands. The combined action of VITAVAX T-L controls Phomopsis and protects
